Almost half century after Walter Benjamin death, the German government charges the prestigious artist Karavan a memorial monument dedicated to the philosopher, to be settled on the Costa Brava village where died: Portbou.

Paris, May 1940. In a country controlled by pro-nazi Vichy government, which has just signed an armistice with the Third Reich, who is at the gates of the city, a man whose apartment has just been registered by the authorities, flees to the south. It is the Jewish German philosopher Walter Benjamin.
Port Lligat

Port Lligat Bay, with its thousand blue and brown colour shades, is one of the most beautiful and fascinating coves in the Costa Brava. It has an island located in front of it, which protects it from the tides and storms. Salvador Dali was its most famous inhabitant.
