Portitxol Beach
Portitxol beach, in L’Escala is a nice friendly beach of fine golden sand. Located just a few meters far away from the Archaeological Museum Empúries, it offers an attractive landscaped frame for swimmers, as it is surrounded, both east and west, by rock formations, cliffs and pine forests.
Ruins of Empúries
The Ruins of Empúries and its archaeological museum, which are very important to discover not only the western origins of Catalonia, but also those of the entire Spain, are open all year in l’Escala.
